- Host cancellation: Full refund for all participants
For Free Games:
- Cancel anytime without penalty
- Please cancel as early as possible to allow others to join
Participation Risks
You acknowledge that:
- Sports activities involve inherent risks of injury
- You participate at your own risk
- BallerField is not responsible for injuries
- You should have appropriate insurance coverage
- You are responsible for your own safety and well-being
Hosting Games
Host Responsibilities
As a game host, you must:
- Provide accurate game information (time, location, skill level, etc.)
- Secure appropriate venue access and permissions
- Arrive early to set up and welcome participants
- Manage the game fairly and safely
- Communicate clearly with all participants
- Follow through with scheduled games or provide adequate notice of cancellation
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
Host Earnings
Payment Structure:
- Set your own game pricing
- Stripe processing fees: 2.9% + $0.30
- Platform fee: 2% of gross amount
- You receive the net amount
- Payouts processed for completed games
Host Requirements
To become a host:
- Complete the host application process
- Verify your identity and contact information
- Agree to additional host terms and conditions
- Maintain a good standing in the community
- Follow all hosting guidelines and best practices
Important: Hosts are independent contractors, not employees of BallerField. You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and compliance with local regulations.
Payments & Fees
Payment Processing
- All payments processed securely through Stripe
- We accept major credit and debit cards
- Payments are charged when you join a paid game
- Payment confirmation sent via email
- Credits can be used for future games
- Refunds processed as platform credits
Credit System
- Credits never expire
- Can be used to join any paid game
- Automatically applied at checkout
- Earned through refunds and promotions
- Cannot be transferred between accounts
- Cannot be converted back to cash

- Creating multiple accounts to abuse the system
Consequences
Violations may result in:
- Warning and mandatory behavior modification

- Permanent account termination
- Forfeiture of credits or earnings
- Legal action if laws are violated

Account Termination
